the deworming mission at naga wasn't as bad or as humiliating as i thought i would be. i led the prayer in bisaya and used words like "hina-ot" and "higayon". instead of dancing the boom tarat, we sang - or more like pretended to sing - "bituin walang ningning" or whatever the title of that sharon cuneta song is. i helped in "facilitating" the program, listed names of the kids, carried chairs, unwinded meters of extension wire, took pictures, danced along when it was statue dance time, and i feel all good inside for being of help.
i probably didn't change anybody's life, but still, isn't it great when you can make a person smile just by telling her that her child is legible to be given medicine or when you point at her baby because you think it's cute? sometimes i'm surprised at how nice i can be. HAHA.
after that, i went to val's house to spend a little more time with sam since she's leaving for manila in 2 hours. awwwwwwwwwww. how sweet. anyway, val the dropped the two of us at ayala since she had to pick bea up and blah blah sam and i ate shawarmas! i remember once in high school how we told each other that we were ashamed of liking shawarmas since most people think it smells awful. hahaha.
if you decide to buy me a shawarma, i like it with onions only. none of those green stuff, ok?
