i spent most of my afternoon walking around ayala. alone.
i went to mitzi's store to have some naga pictures printed and they were trying out this new 5 megapixel camera that's selling for only 6,880 pesos. mhen-my-favorite-kodak-image-center-employee took my picture and said that they'd print it and send it to mitzi in manila (i felt silly, by the way, smiling for a solo while eveeyone else was looking).
when i returned to claim my pictures, the picture of me was on the wall! fat. and ugly-skinned. and disgusting. thank god mitzi's dad gave it to me but said something aout keeping the other photo or whatever. HAHA.
i went to el loco with 4 very foul-mouthed spanish grandmothers - my lola, tita maruja, tita adelina, and tita vilma. tita vilma's daughter or whoever owns the place, and i guess that explains why the waitresses were exceptionally nice.
anyway anyway, let me tell you some of the things they said:
tita v: hoi maruja, bayot man tong naka tubag sa imong telepono. lola: bitaw, mura jug babae ang tingog noh? tita m: lagi. duha man nah kabuok akong boy. ga duda lagi ko nila, murag ga sigeg lolo-ay. ako gani maka lolo nila, ako jud nang birahon ilang mga otin hantod ma labtikan ilang mga nawng!
lola: daghan man pug mga ukay-ukay nga nindot. tita a: bitaw, kanang naa pay mga tag. tita m: maayo nang naay tag kay kung wa, wa ta kibaw kinsay ga gamit. mga hugaw pa lang tog mga boto. unsa kahah noh kung ga duga? yeeeeeeeee.
*on the way home, we see two nuns walking* tita m: sus mga madreng gi katlan! nangita dagway ni silag mga mu rape nila!
